Scott is the visionary behind SaferCities and the vGRID SaferCity Platform. His time is dedicated to consulting with customers on their requirements and how the vGRID SaferCity Platform can help them – as well as connecting people and forming partnerships together for the best outcomes. That’s driven SaferCities since day dot, and inspired Scott to work tirelessly alongside Police to help make cities safer.
Scott reckons he’s been a geek since he was a child, when he built his own ham radio to learn how it worked. He also pulled apart any electronics for a look inside – his folks weren’t impressed with parts strewn across the kitchen table, but he was on the right track, and eventually made his way to work with the likes of Cisco (even getting his CCIE stripes), Auckland Transport and founding SaferCities.
With three sons, two dogs and a wife, Scott’s a busy man. Just as well he has a love of coffee that borders on the competitive – and that he makes time to get some R&R at his happy place at the family bach in Pauanui.
